BODY FIRST STAFF begins to return (remotely) and Body First phased re-opening to begin May 11th.

Body First has decided to remain closed until May 11th. Currently there is a  statewide stay at home order to halt the spread of COVID-19 for Kansas until May 3rd.

Body First staff return

Body First has brought back 14 Full time equivalent employees to work.  Even though Body First is closed to the public our staff is mostly  working remotely to create new online Body First content, continue their education in their field or are working independently at Body First on facility maintenance, deep cleaning, and landscaping.

About the phased re-opening

We are currently planning a phased re-opening.  During the initial phase not all services and facility access will be fully available.  New policies will be put in place in regards to facility usage. services, and Body First programming. In the meantime, it is vitally important to continue your efforts in the slowing of Covid-19 follow the statewide stay at home order, Riley County health department guidelines, and the CDC’s guidelines.  Together we can help slow the spread of COVID-19 in order to give health care workers the time to prepare for the peak of the virus and soften its impact on our community and the state.
