By utilizing fun games, drills, and a little fun, Junior Tennis at Body First is a fun experience your child will look forward to. Body First Tennis programs are a community-based programs, and there is no membership required. We offer Learn to Play, , High Performance Junior Tennis programs, and more.
Beginner to Intermediate Players
Body First provides junior tennis players a chance to learn to the game of tennis with kid-sized courts, balls, and racquets. Body First Pre-K, Red Ball (8&U), Orange Ball (10&U), and Green Group (12&U) programs are designed to get kids playing more tennis.
As part of our commitment to grow youth tennis in the community, registration for Body First’s Learn to Play Beginner/Intermediate Tennis programs is through UFM Community Learning Center.
UFM Community Learning Center is a non-profit campus and community education program serving Kansas State University, the Manhattan area and communities across Kansas.
Enrollment in High-Performance Training groups is by pro approval only. These groups help maximize players’ potential. Designed for juniors who play competitively, enhance their athletic performance, and develop consistency and power into their game.

Intermediate Tournament Player
Maximizing players’ potential. Groups designed for juniors who wish to play competitively, enhance their athletic performance and develop consistency and power into their game.
Futures-levels Player generally have at least 1-2 years of year-round competitive experience
Advanced Tournament Player
Enrollment by Pro Approval only. Enrollment in High Performance Tournament Training group is by pro approval only. These groups help maximize players’ potential. Groups are designed for juniors who wish to play competitively, enhance their athletic performance and develop consistency and power into their game. Players are expected to be actively competing in USTA tournaments.
Throughout the year, Body First offers opportunities for Match Play experience. Match play allows players to focus on using the skills developed during practice. Players should understand the fundamentals of scoring. Players will learn how to compete and conduct themselves during pressure situations. Match play is the ultimate goal of practice.
Body First Tennis Facebook Group was created as part of Body First’s commitment to provide tennis opportunities to the Manhattan and the Flint Hills. This group is to share tennis opportunities, events and happenings at Body First, in the Manhattan Area, or those events that might be relevant to members.
This group is open to all (not just Body First members).
