Body First welcomes Michael Petillo to the Body First Massage Therapy Staff. Michael is a graduate of Sedona School of Massage, AZ; Institute of Phenomenal Touch, CO; and has a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the University of Arizona. In addition, he holds a National Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB).

Since 2009 Michael has been practicing massage therapy and integrates a variety of modalities into each massage therapy session based on a client’s needs. Michael is trained in a variety of Modalities and techniques including Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue/Connective Tissue, Phenomenal Touch, Reflexology, NMT/Trigger Point, Sports Massage, Cranial Sacral, and Reiki. Michael’s presence, kindness, and willingness to meet people where they are at and his listening and communication skills make his clients feel at ease. He has a natural ability to palpate (a.k.a. hone in on) areas of tension and utilize techniques that not only feel good in the moment but are also effective. Michael brings skills and knowledge that are unique to the local area.
