“I want to provide that gift of wellness and an improved quality of life to others”
When Michael chose to be a massage therapist he knew wanted to provide the gift of wellness and an improved quality of life to others. As someone who benefited from massage as part of his own recovery process after a back injury, Michael understands how challenging the recovery process can be. He is committed to helping others feel better.
Michael’s presence, kindness, and willingness to meet people where they are at and his listening and communication skills make his clients feel at ease. He has a natural ability to palpate (a.k.a. hone in on) areas of tension and utilize techniques that not only feel good in the moment but are also effective. Michael brings skills and knowledge that are unique to the local area.
Michael can often be found being active. He enjoys yoga, running, functional fitness and mobility, hiking, paleo eating (and baking!) and meditation. If he was not a massage therapist he would probably be working for a nonprofit. In his free time, Micheal enjoys spending time with his wife and dog and loves to travel.
