In the fall of 2019, Jordan joined the Body First team as a licensed massage therapist. and a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP). Her desire to never stop learning, coupled with her compassion guides her in her drive to help her clients’ immediate needs. Jordan is known for listening to clients’ needs and providing a caring touch. With each massage, she looks to improve the clients’ overall health and wellbeing.
“The most inspiring thing I find to being a massage therapist is help relieve the pain and stress that someone may have been holding on to for sometimes years.”
Jordan has not always wanted massage therapy to be her career. As someone who was intrigued by the science behind cooking and baking, she originally pursued a food science degree at K-State. However, she quickly felt it was not a good fit and felt pulled in a different direction. After taking some time to research various career paths and trying to decide where her passions where she kept coming back to massage therapy as a career. Eventually,d she took the leap and enrolled in Bellus Academy for their massage therapy program.
In massage therapy school Jordan enjoyed learning the human body. She learned techniques and modalities that gave her the ability to help return people’s bodies to working better and with less pain.
