Lauren’s yoga teacher journey, began while living in Tenessee. After taking a hot yoga class, she knew she had to spread my love of yoga to others. She started teacher training the summer of 2014 at Raja Yoga, Clarksville TN. Upon completion, she qualified to become Registered 200 HR Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance®.   After completing her yoga teacher training, Lauren was called to bring yoga to disadvantaged and underserved populations.  She would often teach classes to those who usually would never experience yoga including teaching yoga and meditation to inmates while living in Texas.

In Lauren’s classes, you will discover a calm energy (perfect after a long day) and a wonderful workout (with lots of modifications!). Lauren has years of experience offering students a variety of yoga practice experience from an energizing athletic yoga practice found in a Power Yoga class, to the flow of movement and breathe in a Vinyasa Yoga class, to the tranquility and meditative nature of a Gentle Yoga class.

Grace embodies much of Lauren’s teaching style. Not only in her demeanor but also in her movement. These graceful moves are a nod to the decade and a half that Lauren spent studying Ballet.  In addition to teaching yoga Lauren is also a Ballet Fitness (aka barre) instructor.

When Lauren is not on the mat, she enjoys helping people and animals through Reiki 1,  meditation and delicious vegan cupcakes.
